Joe HistoryOriginally designed and manufactured by Joe Borgwardt in the late 1980's the Big Joe quickly became a Northern Wisconsin favorite. Over the next nearly twenty years Joe produced the baits out of his Hortonville, WI home. Many big fish were caught on his baits including a 52 inch 38.75 pound brute caught by Joe himself. Sadly Joe passed away in September of 2005 but his innovations live on in these baits.
Catch & ReleaseLive Action Lures supports catch and release. Without catch and release the future of fishing would look very poor indeed so please consider releasing your trophy fish. Graphite reproductions are readily available, look great, last longer than skin mounts and cost about the same. Please support catch and release - the future of our fisheries depend on it.
